Water treatment companies in Slovakia

Nowadays ONDEO Services is also working in one water company in the Slovak Republic:

Trencianska vodohospodarska spolocnost, Inc., with its head office in Trencin was established by the founding contract on 16 December 1998 as the universal legatee of the defunct company Trencianska vodohospodarska spolocnost, s r. o. The company originated after the privatization of the state-owned company ZsVAK. Bratislava, OZ Trencin.

TVS manages public water supply and sewerage operations for the towns and municipalities that are TVS’s shareholders within the scope of the contract, and for other towns and municipalities under individual contracts.

TVK (Trencianske vodarne a kanalizacie, Inc.) was founded by the towns and municipalities of the Trencin region, which received the infrastructural property free of charge from the state. The occupational lease concerning the water and sewage infrastructure and operating and providing services related to water infrastructure lease in the Trencin region was signed with TVK for 20 years.

Currently TVS operates about 695.5 km of water networks, 261.4 km of sewerage networks, 108 water sources, and 8 sewage treatment plants. It supplies about 147 thousand inhabitants with drinking water. Nowadays TVS has about 250 employees.

The company’s activities focus on:

• public water supply operations
• public sewerage system operations
• waste water discharge and cleaning
• laboratory analysis of drinking and waste water in their own laboratory
• design activity, building preparation for water pipes, sewage and connections
• engineering activity related to the preparation and implementation of investments
